Als kleine man was ik al bezig met muziek. Van piano tot keyboard tot drumstel, maar ik ben sinds 17e bezig met DJ-en.

He was born 1980 in Purmerend near Amsterdam.
In his mid-teen years he started to experiment with mixing and since 2000 he became really active with mixing for audience on an Easter party for a basketball club.

2003 till 2004.
In 2003 he became a resident DJ for Club Lansdael where he ‘dj-ed’ with success until the end of 2004.

2005 Changes.
In 2005 there was a big change. He focused himself on parties, playing his music (trance, hardtrance & hardstyle) reaching more people. And with success, he also joined XLDJ Connections and for both a great future ahead. He already played at Fluor, Evolution Of Hardstyles, Queenstyle. Xtra Large Dutch DJ Contest 1st Round in Kingdom Venue, Amsterdam (Marquanti), Evolution in Veenendaal, Various XLDJ Connections Promotion Nights, Festivak 2005 in Autotron Rosmalen, Bora Bora The Contest Round 1 in Valkenswaard, Catastrophy in De Waakzaamheid in Koog a/d Zaan, Loose End DJ Contest in Reeuwijk. During this year it was obvious which music belongs to DJ Tensity. Tensity grew and the the music he had chosen a long his patch was the perfect match. Give him trance, tech-trance, hard-trance or progressive trance and he knows what to do with it.

2006 Getting better
The year already started great. He spinned at the 1/8 Finales of the Bora Bora Contest. The 14th of January live on Slam FM radio and several nights in Zandvoort. He also became part of Solar Motion (DJ Team existing of Tensity and Just-D) and gigs are also planned for this team, like queensday in Zandvoort, and mid june at Radio Alphenstad FM. Further more DJ Tensity also performed at gigs like HouSexy at the Kindom Venue, Futuristic at Chez Be Be (Utrecht), LOUD! in the P3 in Purmerend. November was a special month, beginning the month with Flow where he played before Menno de Jong but working to his own first event called Trance 4 Life. 2 promotional guestmixes at Omroep Flevoland and Alphenstad FM and at the 25th his event, which was fantastic! Shortly after that Tensity got invited to spin at A Journey Through Trance in Waalwijk and the second edition of LOUD! The end of december a new event at Club Latido organized by Decisions which got Tensity a nice place in the line-up. This is a perfect finalization of 2006.

2007
Looking at the year 2007 also some great performances has been done. Resident at Collective Dance concept LOUD. Also he performed at the Dancetour Lelystad DJ Contest where he got ranked well. Also a gig in Den Helder was realized as he was contacted for this. Due to some personal changes producing was not an option yet but postponed this to 2008.

2008
Once again Tensity grew in spinning his music and evolved to new sounds as well. While he never gives up the trance, future sets will be influenced with a few different styles which will defenitely suprises people. Already another performance for Loud and also a a performance in Almere, together with Rank 1 in the line-up. Shortly after that Tensity applied for the Dancetour Lelystad DJ Contest, which he won and at May 1st he got to play at this event together with Ferry Corsten, Bart Claessen, Benny Roderiquez to name a few. This really gave a boost to the need to spin more and that is why he joined a weekly internet radio show called Thursday Night Central @ TotaalFM.

2009
This year Tensity has been on a low level due to work and self developing. During this year Tensity delivered a 2 weekly show untill summer. Also he has spun on a outdoor event in Leeuwarden.
Nevertheless Tensity is still here and will focus on spinning again in 2010

DJAlex Biography

In 1997 this crazy madness started by hearing the track \“energy\” by the \“Disco droids\”. Ferry Corsten remixed this track under the name of \“Moonman\”. Damn that track had to be mine and soon I figured out this \“baby\” could only be bought on Vinyl. Well is I had no choice, I ordered one copy and few weeks later it was in my possession. It was my first real vinyl and I am extremely proud of that one. I still love to hear the sweet melody pumping through my brain.

As I did not have any equipment to play that record I had to buy me a turntable. However money was not an option at that moment. So I was \‘happy as Larry\’ that I could borrow 2 soundlab turntables and an old mixer.. The first look at the equipment that I set up made my hart beat faster, I knew something had to be done with that stuff. So buying vinyl started soon. Months of practicing made me come to the first album I compiled: \“DJ Alex – Trance mix part I\”, it was called. At that time the energetic trance was non-commercial and hit everyone at the right spots. So many positive reactions, so many satisfactions made me come to the second album and third and so on

In the meantime trance has made very big steps forwards into the future. But still whenever I here those classic records I still feel bad about not having bought more vinyl back in those early days. I still collect many many classic trance records and am very proud of the vinyl collection I now own. Some great memories come to me when I listen to these classic baby\‘s. Nowadays my style has become more a progressive-style trance, beautiful tracks with lots of spheres combined in it, euro groove, and even a few techno tracks. I still have got to have that special feeling about a record before I buy it. Music has become a big part of my live.. I love to give a message to people who listen to my music, positive energy, good feelings.

Without my friends who have always been supportive and stimulating, I would not have made it up to this far. So here by I would like to give \‘a big thank u!\’ to everyone for their positive reactions. I recently finished my latest album \“DJ Alex – From Inside, and I still have that big smile and good feeling when I finish an album. Please don\‘t hesitate when you are interested in a hardcopy, just contact me.

My first live performance in Amsterdam was extremely successful. Not only did I have a good time and played some great sets, the people loved it, dancing away for hours. Ending with that the police came to shut down the party well after closing time. I still feel like I have taken a huge step by doing that. I hope to perform many more great live sessions like that first one in the future. And hope that you all will support me with that.

DJ Everest at Joost Janssen

Joost Janssen, a.k.a. DJ Everest, is van jongs af aan muzikaal actief. Al op 8 jarige leeftijd volgde de geboren Vlissinger zijn eerste muzieklessen en raakte hij bedreven met zijn creativiteit te uiten op keyboard. Later raakte hij zoals velen verwikkeld in het digitale tijdperk, waarin hij nieuwe mogelijkheden ziet om zijn creatieve geest de ruimte te geven. Na de HAVO is hij daarom Multimedia & Interaction Design (Informatica) in Den Haag gaan studeren. In 2005 haalt hij zijn Bachelor. Na een korte opdracht waarbij hij de webshop van niemand minder dan DJ Tiësto onderhanden neemt, stapt hij in het echte bedrijfsleven.

Sinds september 2005 is hij Test Engineer bij verschillende grote organisaties. Door de tijd die een fulltimebaan opeist dreigt er even een einde te komen aan zijn DJ-carrière, maar zover is het gelukkig nooit gekomen. Dankzij zijn werkgever draait hij namelijk in september 2006 zelfs voor groot publiek in de Amsterdam Arena. Dat werd een groot succes, waarbij duizenden handen de lucht in gingen!
